The qualified individual will make significant contributions to the development of world class solid state flash drives. The primary responsibility of this senior engineer will be the development, design, debug and validation of new SSD products. Candidate should be an expert in analog and digital design, with particular expertise in the design, implementation and debug of regulated power supplies and analog circuitry. They should also be very familiar with high speed digital design, high speed memory elements and protocols, and serial protocols. Schematic and PCB design experience is a must and will be this candidates primary focus. Ideally, this individual will take part in establishing product architecture and creating product definitions and design constraints. Knowledge of the cost effective implementation of these technologies on PCBs and in products is a key to success.
The successful candidate must be hands on and capable of implementing next generation technology. They must be able to solve problems daily, schedule time appropriately, and overcome technical challenges related to high speed digital embedded systems. The ability to interface comfortably with cross functional teams and vendors is a must.
Responsibilities: - Switching regulator topologies, implementation and debug - Analog circuit design and analysis - Schematic (Orcad) and PCB (Allegro) design experience - Embedded systems design, analysis and debug - New product bring-up and hardware validation - Use of advanced test equipment - Troubleshooting techniques and application
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years experience in the area of digital and analog design - Detailed knowledge of PCB development and debugging tools - Experience with various storage protocols a plus - Experience with NAND EEPROM a plus - BSEE/MSEE preferred

Must be an energetic, creative, positive and results oriented individual. - Provide training and assist in the creation of detailed user guides - Produce and review Technical Publications for accuracy and completeness following each product release.
Language Skills Ability to read, write and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and emails in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to internal customers and other employees of the organization.
